  • I have often wondered the same thing as well. And not only junk food, but frozen foods. Everyone cooks from scratch and uses fresh vegetables, so who is buying frozen foods other than me?

  • I buy junk food. I buy good food too. I cook at home. I also go to McDonalds every so often with my kids. Big deal. The world isnt going to end if I give my kid a candy bar once every so often, nor are my kids going to be obese over a candy bar or any other junk food. Kids are out of shape because they dont get enough exercise.

  • I will admit I do buy junk, I mix it with good food, too. But I will buy easy food to have around b/c some nights I am too tired/too busy/ or just don't feel like cooking and a frozen pizza or chicken nuggets fill the basic needs. Saturday afternoons we eat fast food for lunch, it could be McDs, but it could be Subway, just depends. I am not ashamed.

  • We buy mostly healthy foods, but a little junk food mixed in isn't going to hurt anyone.

  • They stay in business because most parents can't be bothered to educate themselves on what is in the foods they buy.

  • We buy one bag of chips per week. When it's gone, it's gone. My husband spends plenty on soda, but he's the only one in the house that drinks it. I make everything else.

    because I like to.
