when do you put up your tree?

We used to do it the day after Thanksgiving, but now wait until either a week before Christmas or Christmas eve., depending on work schedules, time and if I have everything for it ready!

  • Within a week of thanksgiving, I love doing it. When the boys were little I tied a string to the top and put an eye hook above it so the chances of it getting knocked over were slimmer. lol

  • Typically it's Thanksgiving weekend. However, I love looking at our tree and would love to put it up this weekend since we'll only have it up for about 4 weeks. However, when I approached DH about this, he gave me this look like "Um Thanksgiving is next week ... " :)
