Can you tan while you are breast feeding?

Just curious. Dont think I will anyway, but would like to know if I can or not for sure?

  • I'm pretty sure you can't pass on skin cancer through your breastmilk so should be ok.

  • i would ask a doctor to be sure. the only thing i can think of is if the heat messed with your milk, i don't really see how it could be different than sitting outside but they say that tanning pregnant can make you a funny color so who knows. also, if you do i wouldn't put any tanning lotion on your breasts so baby doesn't risk ingesting any of it. and if you get burned it might not be so pleasant.
