Not a question

Our high school basketball team was in the sectionals last night but lost. they played their hearts out and had been beating 4A teams. that is great for a small town team. but what i do not like is the fact that while watching it on the computer since i could not go to the game. i could hear one of our fans screaming NO and you are the worst player in the league to the other team. that is just uncalled for. we sign things when our kids are in sports about sportsmanship and conduct even in our elementary school. Also the ones complaining we should not have lost. we lost end of story. the boys tried their hardest. they fouled , the other team fouled and yes we had a bad ref on the floor to. but look at what these boys accomplished be proud of your team. Why is it when teams lose people tend to put them down? I tell you what the ex coach that died last week would have been very proud of those boys.

  • That's too bad! But there is always at least 1 in every crowd. Someone who takes a kids' sport waaayyy too seriously! Those type of people should not be allowed to stay for the game if they can't tone it down.

  • I agree mrsmom110. even the announcer was complaining about her why she was not escorted out is beyond me.

  • If it's not a question, maybe next time put something like this in a journal, you'll get more response.
