  • means the time in which your license is valid until which time as you get married. However, considering a good many relationships, the way you read it is unfortunately true.

  • It means the license you apply for to get married is good for six months. If you dont get married in that six months you have to apply for a new one.

  • That you have six months from the date that the license is issued to get married.

  • I'm pretty sure it means if it hasn't been signed and dated. ( you, your hubby, and the pastor do it after your ceremony)

  • I imagine it means that if you don't use right away to get married then you will have to get another one.

  • You have six months from that date it was issued in which to used that particular license in a ceremony - otherwise, you have to get a new one.

  • wow six months, my husband and I only had 45 days to get married before our marriage license expired. Which sucked because the two months before our wedding was the most hectic and we seriously put off getting the license until 3 days before the wedding.
