French's Onion Chicken? (As Seen on TV...LOL)

Has anyone tried the recipe they show on TV where you dip chicken breasts in egg and roll them in crushed French's Onions?

I was thinking about trying it tonight. Anyone else tried it before? How was it?

  • yes we loved it but instead of dipping it in egg first i used honey mustard

  • I did, but I got distracted and burned the coating. Second time, they turned out perfect. Even my MIL could eat them and she doesn't have any teeth!!

    If you have a Sams close, get the Members Mark (about $11) bag of boneless, skinless breasts! OMG!! They are HUGE!! There are not many in the bag, but their size more than makes up for it. I can use ONE to make a chicken salad for four people.

  • It came out pretty good! We will have it again sometime. And yes...the chicken breasts at Sam's Club are HUGE. I have to remember to thaw them a little so I can cut them up before we cook. One will usually be enough for me and both the kids!
