Tattoos!

So I'm going tonight to finally get my ex husband's name covered up. Only problem is, I have no idea what to get!
It's *right* above my "private" area. Like right above the hairline. And it says:
Larry
03.01.05
Total width is 2-3 inches and maybe 1.5 inches in length.
Any ideas?
P.S. I don't want the "VOID" stamp!

  • If it was me, I would either get a flower or some small critter (a lady bug, a bird, etc.). Flowers are pretty good for covering things, from what I've seen.

  • Take a picture of it, take it to tattoo parlor and ask what they can do. My dd had hers covered up and it looked like a rose. Couldn't tell it had been a name. BUT make sure the parlor is clean, steralized equipment, and of good reputation. A good artist will figure something out, draw it for you, and get your approval.

  • So, I ended up not getting anything. The guy at the tatto shop was of no help. He told me to pick something off the wall and he'd put it on me. Not exactly what I was looking for.
Proudmom611, no it didn't hurt at all. It was my first tattoo even.

  • No problem. Get a tribal design, or google maori and polynesian tattoos. You will find something cool I'm sure.
