  • Ignorant / do not know any better.......that is why I choose to correct them. Sad thing is, they usually choose to take it in an offensive way. I don't get it personally........I treat others as I expect to be treated, I would never be offended in that circumstance.

  • ummm...did you mean to spell grammar??

Answer by ElenaC419 at 1:13 AM on Mar. 7, 2011

  • Well, no offense OP, but it's "cannot", not "can not". :-)

  • I really don't have any thoughts because I know I have made mistakes due to typing errors not necessarily because I did not know how to spell a word. Also when I am on Cafe Mom it is like an outlet from the "real world" where I can just relax and not have to worry about misspelling a word or grammatical errors =)

  • SweetLoveOfMine-Sorry, but it can be both. Your answer is as rude as her question

NO,  she's right. grammatically it's cannot.

ummm...did you mean to spell grammar??

                               and she's right as well.

goodness gracious, if you're going to bitch about spelling and grammar, at least get it right in the first place. GEESSHHH.

  • I don't, until they decide to complain about someone's "grammer". That's pretty much asking for it...

  • I'm not really sure why people don't use spell; the full editor.
I guess it doesn't bother me but it does indeed catch my attention.
Like I'm sure you meant to spell grammar with an "a" and that would be "cannot" not "can not".
Although spell check would have let the "can not" pass by. ;-)
    But to each their own.
This is all suppose to be done in fun anyways.

  • I don't really think anything, though I do sometimes feel sorry for them.
