What is a 'bump'?

Don't mean to sound stupid but I'm new to the site, is it the same as to 'like' something as you do on facebook for example? Thanks ladies :)

  • I give a bump when I can't give any advice or help. When a questin is bumped it apears back on the newest questions page in a special area where it stands out. This hopefully gets an answer to the question.

  • If people like your question, or just want credit, they bump your question. It's right under the question part. IDK what it really matters, but its cool. :)
