With all the new technology, why can't we make clean energy?

  • We can: solar and wind power are clean and available now. They are just more expensive than 'dirty' energy. When the price comes down, things will change.

  • We can but if people cant afford to switch over then they wont. What needs to happen to make the switch is to offer people a way to convert the cars they already have to something else. If it actually will cost less for people to run their cars then people would do it if they had the help to do so. Same thing with electricity etc. But tax rebates are not the way to get it done. People like myself cannot afford to buy something up front and only get a percentage back. I also dont own my home. If however the state were to offer lets say solar panels for anyone who called, then alot more people would do it.
