Does my Bf have a gaming addiction?

Does it sound like my man has "Online Game Addiction". He spends almost 10 hrs a day on there. I have a feeling he might have one. He use to be really addicted to drinking before. I think maybe he has replaced it with gaming or something. I have put him on my "disability" check because he does has physical issues. For him to get on disability himself would take a long time since he has no family doctor here. He gets really serve anxiety when he works in certain environments with brig th lights, he starts seeing patterns move and feels he has no control over his body. However I do think he could at least find a job. He says their are no jobs here and wants to move to Winnipeg. He has applied for a loan to do schooling to become a online game maker. No doubt in my mind he could do this. I support him in whatever makes him happy. He wants me to come, but I don't wanna. My life here has support that I need for me and my children. I believe if your consistent you can find a decent job, we need the extra money and he isn't doing good sitting on his ass all day here. I'm doing something with my life by going to school 4 times a week full days. I would work on weekends too if I could find a job that suited my agenda. We need the extra money you know. Some of the sys toms I think he has from playing online games are:

. Ignores the phone
. Does not pick up threw out the day regardless if I did the dishes or not
. He experiences restlessness if he's not on here at least once a day and can't seem to find other things to entertain himself usually
. Doesn't plan dates like he use too and puts more energy into his games it seems
. Won't eat during meal times, his excuse is because I don't do the dishes, maybe it's true or not
. He suffers from backaches, dry eyes or headaches after playing video games

I dunno, I'm just being paranoid. Could they be a small chance he has a bit of addiction to this?

  • I think there's much more than a small chance! It's sounds almost like a certainty to me.
