Why am I so hungry?

I was sick for about a week. I didn't have much of an appetite. Prior to that, I was actually doing pretty good on my weight watchers. Now, since, I've been better and off all my medications, I want to eat like a pig! Why is that??

  • Body wants to comfort itself after illness? Needs more calories to finish recovering? Or perhaps your body just NEEDS some calories right now since it's coming off a week of too-few calories. Maybe a combination of all the reasons...ugh, I always eat MORE when I am sick. It's like my body is demanding "fuel me! fuel me!" Drives me crazy.
    Glad you're feeling better!
