How do you make cream gravy?

Mine never seems to turn out right.

  • My daughter makes that when she makes biscuits and gravy. She just uses flour, milk and salt and pepper to taste. She usually uses the sausage grease as flavoring as well.

  • I mix my flour directly into the grease so it dissolves first (keeps the gravy from getting lumpy), and then add salt and pepper to taste, and milk...bring to a boil until it starts to thicken, and then cool.
