Soft food ideas?

This may be TMI for some. I have a problem with my tongue. Short story is that they don't really know what's wrong at the moment. Details: At first I thought it was just burning my tongue repeatedly. Now it's gotten worse and is super painful. I'm seeing a doc about it but even eating bread feels like I'm eating rough grade sandpaper. I had a biopsy today and now it REALLY hurts.

What the heck can I eat that won't aggravate this problem further? I'm not real keen on sticking EVERYTHING in a blender and hitting puree, but if I have to I will.

  • Things like ice cream, pudding, yogurt, jello? Anything salty I'd think would hurt, but mashed potatoes or potato soup that you make with low salt. Low salt broth. Good luck!

  • yeah, too much salt and orange juice feels like acid. Looking for somewhat nutritious, filling foods that won't kill me.
