Maddox. Pick the name apart and you know what you get.

It clearly has the word Dicks in it. maybe even "My Dicks"

I love this name.. but is this really just setting my son up for major jokes?

  • My husband's friend's last name is Maddox. No one ever called him "my dicks". I never even thought of it that way and you would really have to contort the name to get that. I think Maddox is fine.

  • I never thought of it broken down this way so I would be surprised if he was teased anymore than any other kids with regular names. To me this doesn't seem like a name that would be asking for a lot of teasing.

  • It's such a very common name these days I don't think there's any drama. Every school will have a few boys and girls w/ the name. Can't torment them all.

  • I totally don't get "My Dicks" or "Mad Dicks" out of it. The name is getting a little over used, but it is not tease worthy.

  • lol. sorry but this makes me laugh.
i'm personally a fan of the name.

it's alot worse than some other nicknames i've heard. and i don't know why most people are saying that a name being common keeps people from making fun of it. i was part of the amanda fad and at twenty i still here "she's a man duh" and "amanda please" (from that show amanda bynes had) almost weekly if not more.

kids will find a way to make fun of anything
