  • I am rather wishy washy. If I am not feeling well or dealing with a migraine I'll give in. If I'm feeling good I give choices, try to reason, and discipline as needed

I regulate my kiddos sleep, food, activities, etc like a drill sergeant though, so actual tantrums are pretty rare around here. I make sure they eat/drink something every couple hours and that there's a sedentary period after everything active/exciting

  • I pretty much ignore it.

  • My son has never thrown a tantrum in public.  I think I'd probably just try to diffuse the situation by changing the subject or trying to act silly to get him to laugh.  At home he rarely had a temper tantrum, and if he did I would do the same thing, change the subject, act silly or just walk away.

  • My middle daughter had a tantrum once in the gracery store. I popped her on the legs and she never had another tantrum again. My kds knew who was the boss and dare not show out. They are some spoiled children and i had to tell them when mommy say stop stop. My middle daughter was the worst b/c she had heart issues when she was born. Love and spoil them but do not allow them to rule you.
