  • well, I think its about that time...But my kids both had to drink soy formula. When my son got on milk he did fine. Then my DD got on milk and she was allergic! So now she drinks soy milk so gross!!!

  • Cow's milk is not a good idea until 12 months/1 year of age. Their bodies/digestive systems just aren't ready to process cow's milk before that. Whole milk is recommended until at least 2 year of age for the fat content. The extra fat in whole milk will help brain development, which is still going on until age 2ish. But, a human brain does not fully mature until about 26 years of age.

  • All 4 of my kids were on whole cows milk when they were 9 months old. They are now healthy aldults without any health issues. I will probably get voted down for my response. Because most don't agree with me. But, it's just a fact. But, these days, I would totally go with organic milk. Too many hormones nowadays.

  • It all depends on the child, I started introducing cows milk at 11 months with formula, and then slowly started cutting back on the formula til it was strictly cows milk.

  • Go with whole milk, their developing brains need lots of fat!

  • mine didn't take to milk until 15 months, but she was breastfed so it might be different. just keep trying and expect to waste a lot of milk
