  • My best way is by distracting myself, like BlueFrogMama. I cook, I clean, I get online and lose myself here on CafeMom (lmao), I take a shower or take a walk. If I'm extremely stressed, I scream and cry a little bit, but that's just not an option for some people lmao.

  • The biggest thing I do is change the way I am talking to myself. When I feel myself getting upset or stressed out, or otherwise feeling bad, I start listening more closely to the negative things I am telling myself, and then I deliberately change it up and start talking to myself in a more positive and soothing way.

    I also exercise (mainly yoga), meditate, or distract myself with things like cooking, cleaning, running errands, playing with my son, or hanging out with a friend.

  • i clean, pull weeds, step outside the situation and just breathe..if there's a smoker nearby, i may bum a cig.
