what age can they eat stage two wondering if my daughter will be old enought for the turkey dinner one on thanksgiving

  • if she's had all of the stage one foods with no problems then she can move on to stage two.

  • It'll probably be okay, because stage 2 food are pretty close to stage 1's. According to the Gerber website, Stage 2 foods are for when your child
    * Sits independently
    * Picks up and holds small objects in hands
    * Reaches for food or spoon when hungry
    * Uses upper lip to help clear food off of spoon

  • They say 6 months, but if your baby can sit independantly then it's fine.

  • i might be new at this but it really depends on you and your baby, if u think she is ready to eat solid foods.. go for it ... try it.. but be safe about it break up the meat and mix it in some mash potatoes so she feels like she still eating her ceral... try different things... my son is all most 4 months old and hes eat grinded meat mixed with mash potatoes... and hes still in good health...!
