I want to get rid of some of my son's old toys. I don't have time to do a garage sale and I don't want to just throw them away. What can I do with them?

I want to get rid of some of them before I get him new ones...make room for new ones. Where or what can I do? They are still good, maybe need to get cleaned up but I don't want to just throw them away. I just cannot stand the clutter anymore.

  • You can donate them to salvation army or goodwill. Or you can contact the domestic violence shelter or homeless shelter (thats what I do) because they do have children living there who likely have alot less and not many toys.

  • I used Craigslist a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It worked great for the larger items. I made $130 in one day and still have a couple things listed. You have to be patient sometimes and be able to be near email to respond quickly...
