Are parents interested in getting a child tracking device to avoid separating from their children in crowded places?

Hi,
We are students from Upenn who are doing a project for the course Engineering Entrepreneurship. We would like to develop and market a child monitoring system to help parents with young children to easily locate them when they go missing in crowded public places, like shopping malls. It would be greatly appreciated if you could spare just 3 min of your time to answer the survey. We thank you in advance.

  • the ONLY "tracking device" my kids would ever have is a cell phone when they're old enough to go out with friends. If you have to have a tracking devise to keep your kids from getting lost at crowded place, the parent needs to work on more dicipline or not take the child to a crowded place.

  • I agree...if you can't keep your eyes on your kids then leave them at home with a babysitter. My kids still hold our hands at the grocery store...or at least the side of the cart.
