What's the best and cheapiest way to clean out a coffee pot?

I do not want to spend money on coffee pot cleaner, How can I clean it with natural sources?

  • Definitely distilled white vinegar.
    If you still have stains inside the coffee pot after running the vinegar through a regular brewing mode, use a little bit of baking soda along with the vinegar to help get those stains out. Rinse well and then you are ready to go!

  • you could run it through with vinegar and water, then run it through again with just plain water.

  • Run a cycle with half white vinegar, half water. Then two cycles with plain water (to get the vinegar residue out).

  • The owner's manual that came with mine says the same thing. To clean the innards of the things "brew" some vinegar through it.

  • I remember my mom running vinegar through ours when I was little....I hated when she cleaned the coffee pot bc I couldn't stand that smell!
