What can I do with that english roast?

English Roast was on sale a few weeks ago ($1.99 per lb) so I stocked up but I am getting tired of Roast.

Last night I cubed a roast and made beef tips and gravy over rice.

Any other ideas ... I have 3 left.

  • Well, I've never heard of an English Idk what part of the animal it's from, what it looks like, etc...but throw it in the crock pot, when it's done shred it, pull out any bones/fat, and bbq it. It'll stay good in the freezer for quite a while too, take a break from it. Oh, you can grind it up too, into hamburger. I use leftover shredded roast the same way I use hamburger, for soups, hotdishes, etc.

  • Crockpot with garlic, celery, onions, hotlinks, about 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 or 2 cans of mushroom soup, 1 envelope of gravy mix, 1 envelope of onion soup mix, potatoes and carrots and you've got yourself a delicious stew
