  • depends on what they have done--it is either timeouts, toysor TV taken away or a swat on the bottom

  • I do the super nanny thing, sit him in the corner, keep putting him back if he gets out, no talking to him, and he sits for a 5 minutes. when the timer goes off, he gets to apologize and we give hugs and kisses. it truely works for my 5 yr old, and he has ADHD. it helps alot!

  • Kids this age are ripe for TEACHING so there should be no need to punish. Punishment and Discipline are TWO different things. Teach them what you want them to do and how to act. They learn by imitation. SHOW THEM what you want from them.

  • we do time outs and take away toys and also now trying a reward system instead of just discipline we also took love and logic course which has helped when I can be consistent enough to use it
