What gift to give a child who loves animals?

She will be turning 7. She loves all animals and want to be a zoologist. The only thing I can think if is Zoobooks. Not sure yet if she already has them or not.

  • zhu zhu pets are really fun for a little animal lover to play with :) Either that or a few really nice animal puppets.

  • No offence but zhu zhu pets and puppets are way too childish for this girl. She is extremely smart. I don;t think she would enjoy those. I like the idea of a book of animals.

  • You could get her a subscription to Ranger Rick or National Geographic Kids.

  • Check out the discovery store site. Awesome. My son wants to be the same thing. A membership to the zoo is awesome too if you can afford it, or pay for a one day admission.

  • A dog breed encyclopedia, or a horse one! I still have mine from childhood and I LOVED looking at them and learning all about them. :)
