My 5mo olds temp is 101.7, what should i do?

  • I would give tylenol. If you're not sure what to give or how much call your pediatrician's office to find out for sure. If I remember correctly you can't give Motrin until baby is over 6 months old and the dosage is based on weight so you want to make sure you give the right amount. When in doubt I always give a call to the pediatrician to be safe- that's what they are there for and why they get paid the big bucks, right?

  • You need to call the DR immediately. Any temp over 100.1 is a fever in a child under 6 months.

  • ok- i took him to urgent care because his temp shot up to 103! he has a bad cold, my poor baby. we got meds & cool mist humidifer . so we r set thank yall:)
