Is it ok for husband to go out with his friends while his wife and kids are sick with the flu?

He's a good husband in every way...just wants to see his friends every now and then in which he does most Fridays.

  • No!!! It is two weeks today since I had the flu and I am still not my self yet. All three of us had it and I got it the worse. I am still very tired and still have a cough and my chest still hurts. Everyday I am getting better and less tired. I know how you feel. I hope you get better real soon. I feel for you, being a mom you can never get sick. "HUGS"

  • It's OK if it's OK with you. If it's not OK with you, then it's crappy.

  • If it is OKAY with the wife, then why shouldn't he. Its all up to the two of them.

  • It depends how the wife feels about it. If I (and my child) wasn't throwing up, just not feeling well, resting in front of the TV, I wouldn't mind if my hubby went out for a few hours. But I think he should ask if it's ok with his wife and then not be gone too long.
