Questions about bone cancer

Has anyone, or do you know of anyone, who has been successfully treated for bone cancer?  What I'm getting at, is it ever survivable?  If someone has lived through it, was it the first incidence of cancer they had, or was it a secondary or was it after being treated  for a different type and in remission for 5+ years?

  • I went to school with a kid who survived. :)

Your cancer specialist should have some statistics that are applicable to your type of cancer, staging, and systems involved.

  • I do know the stats.  I was just wondering about personal experiences.  Kids are a lot more resilient.  Happy to hear he survived.
