  • It should have ALREADY happened!! Ugh.

However, given the fact that the Easton School District is planning on ELIMINATING 160 teacher jobs (unless of course, the UNION gives in!) out of 700+ positions (22% reduction), maybe he WILL be fired!!

  • Who lets a seven year old female student shop alone with a male teacher?
A pathetic mother in need of free babysitting?
Two effed up adults in this situation IMO

  • Hello? I'd never let my 7 yr old go anywhere with a teacher. That's where the problem is. It's normal for a child not to tell and for it not to come out for even years if at all but the child's parents dropped the ball here.
I hear about all these women who lose their jobs for having sex with students and they all lose their jobs . What is wrong with this picture?

  • I read it differently- he was a middle school teacher-does not say he was her teacher, maybe a family friend or Moms boyfriend-it does not say his current status with the district-although the opening line "Middle school teacher......" does make it seem like he is-my thought is he is probably on admin leave pending the outcome of the investigation- that is how its usually handled-

Tenure does not protect you if you are convicted of a crime against children (among other things)- He may still have a job pending the outcome of the trial but the teachers are put on admin leave and have no contact with children-most states this is unpaid, some is back paid if found innocent, and a few are with pay. Accused child molesters are not in the classroom- the school districts could not afford that kind of exposure and the National Union's stance is same-teachers accused of sex crimes are removed from the classroom- convicted sex offenders can not hold a teaching license in any state-
