Are you more likely to vote in local or national elections?

I didn't even realize we were having a local election until the signs started popping up in people's yards. I'm a lot more likely to vote in national elections.

  • I vote in both. Local elections obviously will affect my day to day life (school board, commisioners, etc).

  • I vote in every election. My local elections are more important to me because the decisions have a more direct impact on my families life but i always vote.

  • I've never voted, but I think local. I don't know much about politics, and I think it's irresponsible to vote when you don't know the first thing about it. But during the city's election last year, I actually did pay attention and I know who I would've voted for had I been able to - I had just moved to the city and my roommate said I wouldn't be able to. The guy I chose is now mayor, and he's doing a bang-up job. :)

  • Most people vote in National elections, but actually your vote can be very powerful in a local election. I vote in both, but I have missed a few over the years.

  • I vote in all elections.

One of the reasons I love living in a mail-in/drop-off ballot state is that it's easier to vote in all elections. My ballot gets sent to me every time something is up for a vote.
