Looking for tips to wean off breastfeeding my 13 month old

  • Drop one feeding per week to spare yourself engorgement. Distract and delay. Don't say "no" but rather say "not now, we'll nurse after Barney." Shorten the remaining sessions a little at a time. It will take as many weeks as times baby nurses in a day.

    Be warned that weaning doesn't cure clinginess or night waking. **smile** Congrats on 13 months!
