No energy

Has anyone been dealing with not having any energy during pregnancy? I have been dealing with that. My midwife told me about Emergen-C. It's helped but only for a little bit then I want to sleep.

  • I was the same way til I was about 32weeks. Its annoying, but at the same time it makes you a great incubator. Good luck, and congratulations!

  • Yes. All normal. We are growing whole people inside us! Also I have a 2yo & 4yo to run after all day. And I agree about the EmergenC thats why I was told to take it 3x's a day.

  • I like EmergenC. I worked out a lot when I was pregnant and I think it actually upped my energy levels.

  • Make sure that your IRON levels in your blood are normal! ( If not, it's likely you'll not have energy to get through your daily tasks...) It's not an expensive test (less than $40 from most labs), and the results are the same day. The only thing you'll need is a work order from your Midwife, so see if she thinks the test is necessary.

  • It is normal. Just eat well and drink plenty of water.
