Lent and beer

So I am in Iowa and apparently there is a man who is going to fast all food and drink EXCEPT beer. He plans on replacing all his meals with beer, all day, every day for the next forty days....doesn't seem smart to me for your body, but I am wondering what everyone else thinks about this.

Please bear in mind I DO NOT AGREE with him, so no attacking me! :)

  • On a religious standpoint...I was reading on a Catholic site that alcohol is OK for a fast. It does not interrupt it. Not sure why but it is lol

  • i've known alcoholics who live on beer/etc. ..not saying how healthy they are or how big their liver is, but they make it work..for a while.
i betcha he'll cave sooner, rather than later.
