Would you rather be an old mom or a young mom?

Personally, I'm glad I'm a young mom.

  • Waiting until I was thirty five, with an established career and financial cushion, was the right decision for me.

  • Seems like I will get to be both. I had my first at 21 and am seriously considering having one or two more a few years down the road. I am 33 now, so I would have them probably at 36 and 38.

  • I waited till I was 36 to have my first. Was the best choice for me, but I do see the advantages of being younger and having more energy!

  • Personally, I never wanted kids in my 20's. Then when I hit my 30's, I didn't want kids until I was with the right person, and financially stable enough. Because of that, I didn't have my son till I was 37, and am about to give birth to my second one at 39. Do I regret not having them sooner? Absolutely not. I wasn't ready.
