Does Medicare pay for Plan B?

My SO had a slip up last night and are not ready to have another kid. Does Medicare cover plan B? Please no bashing

  • Medicare is for ages 65 and older, I'm sure you meant Medicaid, and no they don't.

  • My friend was on Caresource , which is some form of medicaid and she was able to get it....

    You can atleast go ask....

  • I don't know whether medicaid covers it, but my friend's work insurance does not, so I can tell you the price if you have to buy it out of pocket is around $50.

  • get implanon instead! its a 3 year contraceptive...if youre not against that...its really been great, no mood swinds, nothing and i feel protected as long as i dont use too much substance to alter the affect. its a surgery your health insurance may provide, like mine did...
