Where can I RENT a breast pump?

I'm looking to RENT a high-quality breast pump rather than purchase one. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

  • Ask at the hospital where you delivered/are delivering. Most hospitals can rent you a pump, and the ones they rent are awesome! Pretty much anywhere that you can deliver babies will rent them out, so try birth centers, too.

  • The hospital. They're much better than anything you'd buy elsewhere.

  • Talk to your local WIC office to see if you qualify. Ours has really nice pumps.

  • Nope I don't qualify, but I will call them to see if they can turn me on to a supplier. Do you borrow from WIC, or do you get it for free? What brand do they suggest?

  • Thanks, I'll try calling a hospital, too. (My birthing center is uber-small and doesn't have them available...).

  • I did not know you can rent something like breast pumps. Try pregnancy stores. Or an online store.

  • Ask the hospital. Surgical/medical supply stores. Call an IBCLC. Or LLL. I rented one from an LLL leader.
