anyone know the law?

how old can a kid be when they dont have to be in a carseat anymore? ive heard diff things.

  • In Michigan they have to be 8 AND 4'8" I believe. I'm sure a lot of states have age and height rules where you have to meet both criteria.

  • In our state it's 9 AND 4'9". If they're not tall enough, no matter how old, they have to be in at least a booster seat.
