Why do people ask questions about how to do something the right way if they just want to argue with you?

If you knew, why would you ask?? Don't get it. Fill me in. LOL

  • shes talking about me and my question was how long to keep dye in my hair to cover all the gray cuz the amount of time they post on the box doesnt cut it. i did not ask how it was going to damage my hair. so why do people have to give more info than is asked of them to give
