In Indian cooking do they use pork to season their food?

I've come to like Indian food and plan to have some for lunch today. I'm giving up pork for lent and I don't know, do they use pork to season their food?

  • Thanks I wasn't sure and didn't want to assume. They have a station in our cafe at work they serve it once a week it's chicken and rice and spinach for the most part. And one other dip like item. I tried it and really like it once in a whle. I was not sure if by religion or culture if they don't use it or if they do?
