Anyone have really painful braxton hicks??

i know they are braxton hicks because the past two days they have come and gone but sometimes they hurt SO bad, anyone else feeling my pain? lol

  • My BH contractions were more painful than my labor contractions (well, until transitional labor, but those only lasted a few minutes). They were a serious PITA. Sometimes I hardly noticed them, but a lot of the time they were painful and irritating. I feel for you. I would definitely mention this to your OB/GYN or midwife. Maybe give them a call today and tell them about it?hugs

  • it actually kind of worries me because they are so painful and with my other pregnancies they didn't hurt so bad

  • Omgsh yes. Im am 30 weeks and 3 days and for the past 3 days they have hurt so freaking bad.

  • im 30 weeks and 5 days.....according to the first ultrasound. according to my missed period i am 34 weeks lol which would be a lot better! :)

  • Mine hurt as well. And this is my 3 rd pregnancy and Im 21 weeks preggo and Ive been getting them and they hurt as well.

  • With my second pregnancy there were some that took my breath away. I did figure out that they were stronger and closer together when I wasn't drinking enough water. I have also heard that they can get stronger with subsequent pregnancies.

    Unless they're coming at frequent intervals and getting stronger I wouldn't worry too much about it. Drink some water and see if it helps.

  • i have been drinking water and i haven't been timing them but at this point i have had them 9 hours now. they are hurting much worse now than earlier but i am still not wanting to go until i know FOR SURE they aren't braxton hicks
