I'm pretty sure my kids are either deaf or speak a foreign language!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why in the FREAKIN' world won't they just listen? I need a tape recorder, i'm tired of saying ''no'' or ''stop'' or blah blah blah OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Anyone else think there kid(s) are deaf or speak another language.

YES!!!! I know it is hard sometimes to be creative and be clever ALL THE TIME but I try. I try to problem solve and motivate. I say short sentences, I mean I get to the point. OH and have them repeat your instructions---life saver!!!! GL! Okay, I said I try!

  • I agree! And we use positive wording so I know I have had enough when the NO's come out. UGH! So frustrating, And It makes me even more sure my mom and mil are both delusional thinking neither myself nor my hubby had listening issues.

  • It is called selective hearing and it doesn't get any better as they get older.

  • I have had to repeat the same thing today about 10 times. I wish she would just listen. I can TOTALLY sympathize.
