Toddler/pre-school attitude

My three year old is driving me nuts. He is constantly telling us no. I'm not going to. He has such a bad attitude. Please tell me it will end!!! I don't know what to do. He also argues with us about EVERYTHING!! How long will this go on? He'll be 4 in OCtober.

  • It will end. He's just trying out his new found independence.

  • Make sure he is getting enough one on one time with you and your SO. Plus praise when he does things right. Sometimes they go for the negative attention when they do not get enough positive attention. Also give him tons of choices like for the clothes he can wear, etc.

  • My 2 year old says no all day long even when he means yes. It's so frustrating. I am watching my 4 year old nephew and he doesn't say no but his thing is just never answering when i ask him something 40 billion times and i really really hate it

  • My 1 1/2 does the same thing even if she means yes it's just a phase they grow out of it.
