Wondering how to name a girl after three people

my mom is Sharon, my mom twin is Shirley and i became a Sherri named after them. I want to name a girl after my mom but she hates her name. we already decided if a boy that we would name it after his and my dad. any ideas thanks

  • You could always find another name that begins with Sh or use her middle name. I did that with my Mom and Mil...neither liked their names at all so my daughter has derivatives of both of their middle names as her middle names. :)

  • Cheryl? Not too much the same, but keeps the same beginning sound. Go with Cheryl Lee and you have a similar sound.

  • How about Sheila? Or Sherona. You could also mix it up a bit and name her Nora Riley (last 4 letters of Sharon backwards and 5 letters out of shirley - s-h-I-R-L-E-Y) see?
