  • All labors are different. Due dates are a rough estimation, you can't really rely on them. I had my son at 39w6d.

  • Everyone is different. I had my first at 41 weeks and was induced. My sister inlaw went into preterm labor at 26 weeks and was on bedrest until she finally had her at 37 weeks. It really is hard to say.

  • 40 weeks is an average and your DD is set on that average. Most women give birth between 38-42 weeks, first births more often fall in between the 40-42 week range and second births tend to come a little sooner.

But these are all averages, every woman and every pregnancy is different. How long do the women in your family gestate? That's normally fairly good indicator of how long you'll gestate...though of course that's not a definite either.
