Need help: How much should I charge for the raffle tickets?

I am walking the Susan Komen 3 Day this year in October.

I have found a business that is willing to sponsor me raffle tickets so that I can host a raffle. All of the funds will go towards my fundraising goal.

I also have managed to collect the following today for the raffle:

-$50 gift card to Chili's

-$25 gift card to an Biba's Italian Restaurant

-4 Movie tickets

-2 free appetizer gift cards to Outback Steakhouse

-$15 to Red Lobster

I also have a few businesses who are thinking it over and considering donating, but they said they would have to get back in touch with me. Another few said to contact specific people in their business and they know they will donate something.

My big question now is.... how much should I charge for the raffle tickets?

  • I think this way ppl could afford it easily and you would be able to get a lot more ppl to donate and hopefully they'd buy more than one if they felt moved to donate more. GL !

  • For $5 each, you can get more money by selling fewer tickets. But if they are 2 or 3 dollars each, people might be willing to buy more tickets, possibly making more money.
