What could be making my computer always want a "refresh" and losing connection?

Is it slow internet speed--we only pay for "economy" internet through Comcast, or is it something else?? Thanks.

  • Yep, most likely your internet speed. The majority of the web runs best on a broadband connection. If you are continually losing your connection, it's your internet provider & type of connection.

  • It could certainly be your internet, or maybe your router or modem too. Try restarting your router and make sure it's firmware is up to date. Restart your modem too. If you continue to have internet connection problems have Comcast come take a look at your lines to make sure the wiring isn't causing a problem. If you continue to have problems once all those things have been cleared, it could be your computer.
