  • cyber chase is AMAZING!!! VERY educational... it's usually on tpt 2

  • Sid the Science Kid, Cyberchase, Clifford (teaches good manners and lessons on friendship), The Electric Company

Most of the PBS shows are pretty good. I find the Nickelodeon and Disney ones are not very educational. The only "learning" show they have on those channels seem to be geared toward very young children, toddler/preschool age.

  • That's pretty broad. Are you talking preschoolers or older? Literacy, science, numbers? I suggest visiting and checking out what they have. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for. :)

  • channels like A&E, history, and discover have some great progams but you have weed out the other stuff to get to it......but then my 9yr learns things from shows like american pickers (about guys who go around the country collecting old things people have stored up, or ice road truckers about people in canada who drive simis on ice roads, flying alsaka about bush pilots in alaska) you just have to find what works and whats at you childs level and go from there
