  • i would have to pass on both of them....but if you had a reason for picking them maybe the would be more pleasing like they are name after other family members. are you trying to be different?...or can you put the middle names up too because when you put both it make the name sound cutier

  • I like them. :) If you do, then that's all that matters though. :)

  • 1.'Lane' as a middle name for the boy with the first name as Afton.
    2. 'Melanie' as a middle name for the girl with the first name as Lynnae.

  • I like Lynnae, but I think it's the kind of name that she (and everuone else) will struggle with spelling and pronouncing. Also for people who learn classical language the "ae" is pronounced "eye"... So people might call her "lawn eye" and that is the same way you rpnounce lanai (the patio outside of a beach house).

Of course whatever name you pick will be lovely for your family, but I would have to pass completely on Afton. I don't get it at all.

  • I really like the girls name, but maybe an easier spelling?
    Linae, perhaps?

  • I don't like the girl's name at all. I think the spelling will cause people to pronounce it incorrectly. Afton sounds really feminine to me, which I don't like for a boy.
