Can a kid walk at 4 months?

I just read a post where a kid was walking at 4 months... 2 of mine walked at 9 months but 4... have you ever...

  • i don't think so. i tend not to believe things on this site unless i see it with my own eyes. some people just like to brag a lot.

  • That is very weird. I don't seriously think that could happen. I mean, a kid isn't even sitting up good at 4 mths. But I guess anything is possible.

  • I guess it could be possible. Very rare, but it could happen. My Dad was walking at 6 months.

  • I don't think they could walk independantly,but my first son walked at 5 months holding on to things. It looked very weird and unatural, but he managed to do it.

  • my girl was sitting up by herslef realy good at 3 1/2 months,pulled her self up to standing at 4 1/2 months and now crawling at 5months

  • My son will be 4 months next week and he loves to stand while being held. He always has his feet flat on the floor and sometimes he'll "walk" by putting one foot in front of the other. It's cute :-) He obviously can't stand up on his own but he puts pretty much all his weight down and does all the motions of walking!

  • If you support a baby, he//she will "step" moving one foot in front of the other if you move him/her forwards. newborns can do this.
