What do you buy for snacks through the week?

not just for your kids, but yourself as well? I am tired of the same old snacks. I am pregnantand I have 2 kids so I am just tired of the same things and wanted to see what others buy for the week. Also how much do you spend on snacks for the week?

  • I buy carrots, jello, brie cheese and crackers, wheat thins, a bag of cookies (kids & me lol), and then usually stuff to make that way I dont gorge myself. Like I will make strawberry cheesecake muffins, blueberry muffins etc.

  • Peanut butter crackers, yogurt, dried fruit, fresh fruit, baby carrots..... I don't get the same thing each week so that we don't get tired of the same things. I'm not sure how much I spend either, sorry not much help.

  • I don't really buy snacks weekly unless its something like fruit, but I eat the same snacks my kids do. Right now we have clementines, bananas, apples, granola bars, yogurt, cheesesticks and canned fruit to go with cottage cheese. So I'd estimate I spent about $50 for snacks so far, but most of it has been jumbo packs from Costco so that it will last the month.

  • Radishes, bell peppers, celery, popcorn, string cheese, yogurt, nuts, fruit, carrots, and rice cakes. I would say I spend at least 30 bucks a week on snacks. We do not usually go down the junk food isle. I'm lucky my 3 year old is such a good veggie lover. She will eat 6 or 7 radishes at a time if I let her. :)

  • Not a whole lot, I keep apples, bananas, oranges, baby carrots, things like that on hand. I bake when I feel like it - cookies, bars, muffins. I buy some crackers when they're on sale, so sometimes we'll have crackers & cheese. Popcorn (we have a stir-crazy and eat it pretty plain). We just don't do a whole lot of snacking - the more homemade stuff I have on hand the more we snack, of course.

  • Oh - I do have 2 kids in preschool and they both usually have to bring snack once a month - so we have whatever leftovers there are from that for a few days after (we usually get things like granola bars, graham crackers, various cheese crackers, things like that - I don't buy that stuff for personal snacking, but of course we finish what's brought home after snack day lol).
